Since I've recently been on a kick of dressing like a 1990 rock video skank, I thought why not feature Bobbie Brown! She was definitely the most fabulous! An actress and model, Bobbie got her start in the Miss Teen USA beauty pageant and later appeared on Star Search, winning a record breaking 13 times!! She is best remembered as a heavy metal groupie and video hoe, appearing in such classics as Warrant's "Cherry Pie" and Great White's "Once Bitten, Twice Shy". She dated everyone from Nelson's Matthew Nelson, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, Jay Gordon from Orgy, and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee! In 1991 she married Warrent's lead singer Jani Lane, but alas....it ended after two years. She is currently working on writing a memoir called Serial Rock Dater: Sex, Drugs, and Cherry Pie...can't wait to curl up with that one!

Stella McCartney Spring 2011 Presentation!

This Tuesday I was invited to attend a presentation of Stella McCartney's Spring 2011 fashion collection in the West Village. Her PR people saw me in Paper Magazine and were nice enough to invite me! Oh the glaMOUR! The presentation was held at Gavin Brown's Enterprise gallery and spared no expense on yummy hors d'oeuvres and unlimited booze! Known for only using Vegan materials, Stella's collection was soft, romantic and sophisticated....so to go against the grain I decided to wear leather shoes and dress like a 1990 rock video skank! Hey, it's ME! There were a bevy of blonde celeb sightings including the likes of Gweneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts and Kate Hudson. All in all a great event! Fashion!
